We will gather for a morning of reflective integration. Boarding our coach mid-morning, we will visit Bas en Basett, the family home of Mother St. John Fontbonne before journeying to Monistrol followed by our group Lunch, which will be hosted by Sebastian Farison and his family. Then on to the great city of Lyon, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its historical and architectural landmarks, silk production, gastronomy, and vibrant international University.

Dinner Reflection Questions:
Having visited the village of Bas-en-Basset, the childhood home of Mother St. John Fontbonne, the same home she returned to when she and the congregation were suppressed during the French Revolution, what stirred within you?
We also visited the town of Monistrol, the place where Mother St. John became the Superior at a young age. It was from this same place that the sisters were forced to disband the congregation and return home.
In your own lives, when have you weathered the storms of injustice and remained steadfast in your beliefs, values, and/or faith?
Another way to approach this question is this: If you were having a conversation with Mother St. John today, what might you share with her about the struggles you have in remaining committed and faithful to the mission, vision, values and promise of Providence St. Joseph?
