Dinner Reflection Questions and Groups:

Today we visited the Motherhouse of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Lyon.  You heard the history and origins of the congregations and the eventual missioning of six sisters to the United States in 1836. Reflecting on Mother St. John, and the experience of the first six sisters in Cahokia and Carondelet, Missouri, what stirs within you? Drawing the connections from the first six sisters who began the congregation in LePuy in 1650, through the establishment of the Sisters in Lyon after the French Revolution in 1807, and the establishment of the congregation in 1836 in the United States:

• What can you draw from the determination of these women to respond to God’s call in their lives? 
• Can you see your own life experiences in the experiences of these women?  Dig deep! 
• How have you responded to God’s call in your life in ways, that looking back, point to your ability to embody the attributes of faith, foresight, and flexibility?

The first pilgrim listed in each group is the group facilitator for the evening.
